# FAQ

  <Accordion title="Do I need to verify my identity (KYC) to open an account?">
    No. Blockonomics does not require identity verification to open an account or accept payments. Because we are non-custodial and never hold your funds, we do not need to collect KYC documents.

  <Accordion title="Can I use Blockonomics as a crypto wallet?">
    No. Blockonomics is a **payment processor**, not a wallet. You must connect your own Bitcoin wallet (Ledger, Electrum, etc.) to your Blockonomics account. Payments are sent directly to that wallet — Blockonomics never holds your funds.

    If you don't have a wallet yet, we recommend [Electrum](/wallets/electrum) for desktop users.

  <Accordion title="I forgot my password — how do I reset it?">
    Go to the [Blockonomics login page](https://www.blockonomics.co/login) and click **Forgot Password**. You'll receive a reset link by email. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.

  <Accordion title="Is my account safe?">
    Yes. Because Blockonomics is non-custodial, your Bitcoin is always in your own wallet — not on our servers. Even if Blockonomics were hacked, your funds could not be stolen. Your account credentials are protected with standard security practices, and you can enable [2FA](/security/two-factor-auth) for extra protection.

  <Accordion title="Can I have multiple stores under one account?">
    Yes. You can create multiple stores within a single Blockonomics account — useful if you run multiple websites. Each store has its own callback URL and can be linked to a different wallet.

  <Accordion title="What cryptocurrencies does Blockonomics support?">
    Blockonomics supports **Bitcoin (BTC)**, **Bitcoin Cash (BCH)**, and **USDT**. The available currencies depend on your integration — WordPress and PrestaShop support BTC and BCH. Check the relevant [integration guide](/integrations/wordpress-woocommerce) for details.
